These terms apply to the OfficeOurs virtual mailbox plan. By ordering the plan you accept them. They do not apply to the Virtual Office or to coworking membership, which have their own terms. The service is provided by OfficeOurs (Yehuda Biala, authorised dealer no. 227370152).
What the plan is
- You get a numbered virtual box and our business address with your box number in it. It is not a physical locker: mail arrives at P.O.B. 45446, and we sort it at our office by box number.
- The plan does not include an office, a workspace, staff, signage or membership of the workspace.
- We check for mail every Sunday and send you a photo of the outside of each item that arrived.
- We do not open your envelopes unless you ask us to scan one.
Ordering and identity
- Order online with a photo of your ID or passport. We may ask for further details.
- We review each application, usually within one business day. If we do not approve it, we refund everything you paid for it.
- Your box number and full address arrive by email after approval. On standing order, they come only after the first debit clears, which takes some days. Do not use the address before then.
Using the address
- While the plan is active you may receive mail at the address and publish it as your business address, including on your website, in your terms and on your invoices and letterhead.
- Write the address exactly as we give it to you, with your box number.
- You may not say or imply that you work from our premises, or that we staff an office for you.
- You may not use the address for anything unlawful or misleading.
- We issue a signed confirmation letter in Hebrew and English, which you can download from your account. It is valid only while the plan is active.
Fees
- The plan costs ₪100 a month. There is no setup fee, deposit or renewal fee. All prices include VAT.
- You pay by credit card or by standing order from an Israeli bank account, at the same price. By card, the first payment is taken when you order, the card is kept for later charges until you cancel, and you must keep a valid card on file. By standing order, nothing is charged at order, you upload your bank’s confirmation, and you must keep the standing order active until you cancel.
- Handling an item costs extra, as you choose:
- Scan and send as a PDF: ₪6 (envelope of up to 10 pages)
- Shred: ₪6
- Discard: free
- Self-collection: ₪15 per letter or parcel
- Forwarding by post, in Israel or abroad: Israel Post’s rate plus 35%
- Letter storage: free for the first 30 days, then ₪5 a month
- Parcel storage: free for the first 14 days, then ₪20 a month
- A handling fee is charged when we have done the work, not when you choose it. Fees are added to your monthly billing.
Your mail
- You decide what happens to each item. Until you decide, we hold it.
- Any item not collected within 90 days of arrival is discarded, including where storage fees were paid. While your box is open, we email a reminder before that date.
- Registered mail does not reach the box. Israel Post holds it at the branch and leaves a notice, which we pass to you when it reaches us. You can use the link in the notice to order Israel Post’s door delivery to our address, and we will receive the item from the courier.
- Mail is generally delivered once a week, on Sunday, and we check it and send you the photo that same day. Israel Post can be slow, though: a letter can take six weeks or longer to reach us. If you expect letters with short deadlines, take this into account. We are not responsible for a deadline missed because of postal delays or this cycle.
- Self-collection is by appointment, with photo ID, Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 to 13:00.
Term, renewal and cancellation
- On the monthly plan there is no commitment. It renews automatically each month until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time by contacting us. The month in which the box closes is billed in full.
- A yearly plan runs for 12 months from approval, either billed monthly at 15% off or paid up front at 20% off. If you cancel during the year, the box closes at the end of the term and stays open and billed until then.
- We email a renewal link 30 days before a yearly term ends. If you do not renew, the plan continues month to month at the full price.
- We may end the plan if you break these terms or a charge cannot be collected.
After cancellation
- Stop using the address when the box closes. Remove it from your website, terms, invoices and anywhere else you published it, and update any authority or platform where you registered it.
- Your confirmation letter stops being valid when the box closes.
- Mail that arrives after the box closes is discarded.
- Items that arrived before the box closed stay under the rules above, including the 90-day limit, and any fees still apply.
Our liability
- We handle your mail with reasonable care. We are not responsible for mail lost or delayed before it reaches us, or for what Israel Post, a courier or another carrier does with it.
- We are not liable for indirect or business loss, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
- Subject to that exception, our total liability will not exceed the plan fees you paid in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Changes and notices
- We may change these terms or our prices by emailing you before the change takes effect. If you do not accept a change, you may cancel.
- Notices go to the email address on your account, so keep it current.
