If you only need an address to register your business and someone to handle your post, the virtual mailbox does that. The Virtual Office fits when your bank, card processor or a government office wants a letter saying you are a member of a co-working space, or when you need a room for a meeting once a month. The address and mail handling are the same in both; the difference is what the letter confirms, and the meeting room.

What both include

  • A business address you can register at: Kiryat HaMada 6/your number, P.O.B. 45446, Har Hotzvim, Jerusalem 9777606. Register it with VAT, income tax and the Companies Registrar, and put it on your website, invoices and terms.
  • Your post, every Sunday: we photograph the outside of each item and send you the pictures. Reply in one word: leave (free for 30 days for a letter, 14 for a parcel), scan (₪6), send (Israel Post + 35%), discard (free) or shred (₪6). An envelope is opened only when you ask us to scan it. Full mail-handling price list.
  • A digitally signed letter, in English and Hebrew, that you download from your account whenever someone asks.
  • No minimum term on the monthly plan. To save: commit to 12 months and pay monthly for 15% off, or pay the year up front for 20% off.
  • When you leave, stop using the address: take it off your website, terms and invoices. With a Virtual Office, you also update your business address with the authorities and send us proof.

The difference: what the letter confirms

The virtual mailbox (₪100 a month) comes with a letter confirming that you hold a numbered virtual box with us and may receive mail at the address and use it as your business address. You can register the address with VAT, income tax and the Companies Registrar, and attach the letter if they ask for proof.

The Virtual Office (₪150 a month) is not a mail plan. It is membership of the co-working space. Its letter confirms that you are an active member of the OfficeOurs co-working space and may receive mail and publish the address as your business address. On top of that, every month includes an hour in the meeting room (booked for up to eight people), for the client meeting, the interview or the signing. The hour belongs to that month; an unused hour does not roll over.

Neither letter says your business operates from the address. Each says only what is true, which is why it holds up when someone checks.

Which one is for you?

The virtual mailbox, if:

  • You are opening an osek patur and don’t want your home address on every receipt. The address you register is the one your clients see. Why the address you register is the one your clients see.
  • You live abroad, or are making aliyah, and need an Israeli address to register your business. You never need to come in: the photos reach you by email, and the letter comes in English. An Israeli business address from abroad.
  • You work from home and only need a business address and someone to handle your post.

The Virtual Office, if:

  • Your bank or card processor asked for more than a mailbox letter. This letter confirms you are an active member of the space.
  • You meet a client now and then. An hour a month in the meeting room, for up to eight people, covers the meeting you would otherwise hold in a café.
  • You live abroad, and your bank or card processor wants more than an address letter. You never need to come in: the letter and photos reach you by email, and the monthly hour in the meeting room is there for when you are in Jerusalem.

Neither, if:

You need a letter saying your business operates from the address, or a desk every day. That is a workstation or a private office.

Not sure? Ask the institution first

Before you choose, find out what your bank, card processor or authority wants to see. If proof of the address is enough, the virtual mailbox will do.
